I got my first ever publishing royalties the other day. A check from BMI for $30 and change. I suspect it might have been a mistake on their part but as long as the check clears, I guess it doesn't really matter. If it wasn't a mistake, one of the songs I wrote for the Olive Group was used on a tv show. The printout didn't say which song. It makes me want to put more songs out it the world and occasionally get random checks for 'em.

I think I've decided that my favorite drink is the Irish Carbomb. My one regret is that you can't just sip it, at least I don't think you can. Maybe I should try it that way one of these days. Cheers!

I'm ready for a restful weekend. I'm not sure if I'll get one, but I'm gonna try. I'd like to read and maybe go to the movies. Maybe a nice lunch at Polvo's. All that plus week 2 of NFL 2007, of course.
