I got home at 3:30am last night and managed to make it to work on time (well, pretty close). Not sure how I'll make it through the rest of the day, however.

Next week I get to come in at 7:30am everyday for training classes. I'm so lucky.

This weekend I plan on doing nothing except going to Cory's photo show, well, after playing a show tonight, that is. And after Choo's late night bday party tonight. Well, maybe I do have some plans for the weekend, so what?

I'm back at work. It is not fun.

I've been pretty much stuck in the house for a couple of days (hence the pics+posting.)

We rarely ever get actual snow. We get sheets of ice that cover everything. Hence why driving in the ice down here is so sketchy. If you have snow, your tires can kinda grab onto something, but here when it ices (or snows) it melts immediately then refreezes in sheets of ice on the roads. I'm just saying. Not to that I get defensive about that kind of thing.

Today I...

1) Ate sloppy joes and watched Law & Order.
2) Drank wine and watched the awful, awful remake of the Wicker Man w/ Nick Cage which has my fave movie quote of the new year "Oh no, not the bees!" It was the version with the "shocking alternate ending not seen in theaters".
3) Listened to a lot of Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings and played Scrabble on my computer.
3) Drank more wine and watched Deadwood.
4) Talked too much about the weather.
