Not that anyone asked but here are my (very early) election year predictions...

John Kerry gets the Democratic nomination. His running mate will be Bill Richardson, the gov of New Mexico (and former US ambassdor to the UN).

Obviously, George Bush will get the Republican nomination. Sometime in the late summer, maybe even at the convention, he'll announce that he'll be replacing Dick Cheney on the ticket with Condoleeza Rice.

Bush wins the election with 51-53% of the popular vote.

The senate will either have 51-49 democratic majority or be split 50-50 after november.

The house of representatives will still be republican controlled but by a much smaller majority.

I'll try to go vote early then get frustrated by the long lines and give up and go home.
