Goddamn 2006 is going great so far. I just read that what may be my favorite movie ever is finally getting issued on DVD (criterion no less). Metropolitan comes out on Feb 14, 2006 (Valentine's is perfect). Here's a nice little essay I found that commemorates its 15th anniversary.
