two things that kicked my ass...

1) Lost - I watched the first two episodes of this when they aired, but then missed the next couple so I decided to wait for the dvds. I'm on disc 5 of 7 and I'm not regreting waiting for the whole thing a bit.

2) Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings - Choo had an extra ticket. I'd never heard of them/her. This killed me. Amazingly tight soul band. She can sing and entertain like a motherfucker. I'm inspired and white.
